Joshua Mertzlufft

Founder & CEO

Joshua is an experienced patent attorney and counselor who leads Stake to provide top-of-class client service. With a background in applied physics, Joshua is able to work with clients in a variety of patent procurement and litigation matters in industries including energy, cleantech, software, telecommunications, and aerospace. Joshua is a former engineer and web developer, and he has experience working with clients ranging from pre-seed startups to stock exchange-listed corporations.

Joshua works with companies and inventors a variety of fields including:

In law school, Joshua was the Editor-in-Chief of the Buffalo Law Review, ranked internationally in the prestigious Philip C. Prior to founding Mertzlufft Law, Joshua was a patent attorney with a large law firm and a mechanical engineer in the energy and heat transfer industry.
